October and the change in season - Oh what beautiful colours!
We have had another busy month here at Revive, lots of people to treat and lots of changes happening - do you like our new front door?
We unfortunately had someone tried to break in, which made the door a bit stiff after the crow-bar marks in the frame - so thankyou for bearing with us while we waited for the new one to be fitted!
We had the pleasure of welcoming hopeful students to sit their entrance exams for the University of Cambridge. They had full use of our large open studio for the day, so we all had to be on our best behaviour and be super quiet, so that we didn't disturb them!
Thinking outside the box, if you can think of a use that you would like for our studio it would be great to hear from you!
We have also purchased a new piece of kit (drum roll please...)
It's called Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) or simply a Shockwave Machine to be honest! It works by sending sound waves to cause a vibration (much like Therapeutic Ultrasound) and also pressure waves which cause a cavitation - a microscopic bubble which, when it bursts, will draw inflammatory cells to the area to kickstart your body into healing itself.
