How to ease knee pain and swelling

If you have knee pain, try these things at first:

put as little weight as possible on your knee – for example, avoid standing for a long time
use an ice pack or bag of frozen peas wrapped in a tea towel on your knee for up to 20 minutes every 2 to 3 hours
use painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen gel or tablets

Ankle Sprain or Strain

A sprain is a stretch and/or tear of a ligament, and is classified by severity. A strain (or 'pull') is a stretch and/or tear of muscle fibres and/or tendon.

A sprained ankle is an injury where sprain occurs on one or more ligaments of the ankle. It is the most commonly occurring injury in sports, mainly in ball sports such as basketball, volleyball, football, pickleball, and tennis but can easily affect anyone sometimes caused by rolling the ankle whilst walking.
